WHO FOR THE JOY THAT WAS SET BEFOREHIM….
Who for the joy that was set before him…
… paid his tithes and offering although finances were tight….
Who for the joy that was set before him,
… still prayed 2 hours despite his tired and fagged body after the hard day’s work….
Who for the joy that was set before him,
… gave Samaritan offering to the poor even when her rents was due….
Who for the joy that was set before him,
… went on evangelism despite the bad news he just heard….
Who for the joy that was set before him…
… ENDURED THE CROSS THAT HE MIGHT BRING MANY SONS TO GLORY.
It’s a new year, and I tell you, THERE WOULD BE LOTS OF CHALLENGES!
But the way you go about them will determine what effect they will have. We should stop allowing our decisions be determined by what we see, feel or think about now, but rather by what effect they would have on others, given time.
You can either back out…, or face them squarely, master the situation and lead others by the hand based on out experiences.
Strange as it might sound, Jesus had options at Gethsemane. He could have called it quit when the temptation was really strong. Instead, He chose to consecrate Himself to His father’s plan, “…Yet not as I will, but as you (God His Father) will.” –Matthew 25:39
We are always faced with
1. Doing the right thing,
And
2. Doing things right.
But you note that ALL your decision and actions will have ripple effects on others.
Your decision to save more and sow less, to be more ‘time conscious’ and less patient with ‘slow-moving’ people will impact on others…,
... your indecision will impact on them…,
… being more considerate, sowing your seeds, and being less aggressive and listening more will also impact on others.
Think, Act And Decide Right For Others Sake.
It might not have effects now; it might take a couple of years…. 20, 30, 40 years, but one day, one day, it sure would and you’ll get to see the effect.
At least, Jesus paid the price 2000 years ago, but He’s still bringing many sons to glory.
So,
In all your actions, ACT RIGHT.
In all your decisions, DECIDE RIGHT.
In all your doings, DO THINGS RIGHT, THAT YOU MAY ALSO BRING MANY SONS TO GLORY.- Janmo!
