MY LATTER END.

I committed my all to Him:
100% of my earnings;
24/7 of my 365 days;
His yes before anybody else’s;
My ability for His Glory;
My Commitment To His ALL.

He committed His all to me:
100% of His Glory;
24/7 of my 365 days in His Favour;
His Mercy prevailing over well-deserved judgement;
His Goodness for my toil;
His Commitment To My ALL.

The Deal Is Perfect!

This Confidence I Have;
He is committed to my increase.

This is my Confidence;
My latter end shall greatly increase.

Though My Now Be Small;
My Faithful Partner Is Working All Things Out For His Glory.

Loaded, Advanced and Suffcient

2 people Jesus commended for such great faith in the Bible:

One was rich, one was poor,
One was well town-acclaimed; the other was a town-outcast,
He was a ruler; she had been ruled and bent over,
One has several levels of authority; the other had several years of haemorrhaging,
He was a rich centurion; she was a woman with an issue of blood.

Two sides to a coin; Such Is Life.

God is ‘loaded’ enough to satisfy the poor,
Advanced’ enough to appeal to the rich,
And ‘Sufficient’ enough for the crowd in-between.
It’s all matters of their hearts.

To one side He says: ‘Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee’
To the other He says: ‘Thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague’.
To the rest, He says: ‘Get up, take your mat and go home’.

For that rich Uncle who thinks he doesn’t need God amid his wealth…
For that war-torn orphan who wonders if such a loving God will allow such sufferings … God is Loaded, He’s Advanced, and He’s Sufficient.

He can touch them and make them whole…
He will touch them and make them whole…
He longs to touch them and make them whole.

Matthew 8: 5-13, 9:6 and Mark 5: 25-34.

Factor in the reminder.

It is Easter again, Praise God.

Beyond the church services, effigies and role playing, I am reminded and awed by God’s ability. God and not evolution created the Heavens and Earth. He’s also the Savior who has redeemed us from eternity in hell.

But if that’s all we are conscious of, we may miss out / fail to benefit from His ability. And that’s the essence of Easter; to serve as our reminder.

If we believe in Easter and we celebrate it, then Romans 8:11 stands true that If the Spirit of Him that has raised up Jesus from among the dead dwell in you, He that has raised up Christ from among the dead shall quicken your mortal bodies also on account of His Spirit which dwells in you.

I thank God for Easter. But I do more than thank. I ask that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of our understanding being enlightened; that we may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in (us) the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come .And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all - Ephesians 1:17-23.

Do you believe in Easter? ‘If the Spirit of Easter dwells in us, He shall quicken our mortal bodies also on account of His Spirit which dwells in us.’

Do you carry His Spirit? Then ‘quickened mortal bodies’ and ‘enlightened eyes of understanding’ are our privileges as Children of God.

Is there a part of your life that needs quickening? Some of mine does…. Factor in the reminder.

You Do The Same.

Something happened…one thing led to another…and I missed my deadline. The department said ‘NO!’…the feedback was negative…my family was not impressed…I was crushed.

Past my bedtime, I couldn’t sleep…I couldn’t read my books either…
A quick survey showed some gaps, a tour revealed things were not ‘going towards the light’ as I’ve been preaching…. My testimony seemed not comparable.

I want to give up, I want to quit my call, I want to be normal…
I want to lower my standards; I want to ‘rock’ life, I want to decide without my conscience… ‘God, why wouldn’t you just leave me alone!?’

But He also said ‘NO!
Your walls are continually before me, your seeds are speaking for you, I just can’t!'

Then I found myself running.

Running to His love that I may have eternal life…,
Running to His mercy to prevail over judgement…,
Running to His Grace to live yet another day….

Running, running and just running…,
Falling in love all over again, and sinking real fast.

Then it dawned on me: It started with me, but it ended with Him. Now I’m Glad.

You do the same.

In Your Hands.

The children of Israel had been under bondage for a long, long time. When they cried out to God, God thought to rescue them with ‘one-of-their-own’: Moses. Moses had the potentials to lead millions of people but he was an 80 year old lonely, cowardly shepherd who had a past. But God changed him and used him for His Glory. How?

When God asked Moses what he had in his hands in Ex 4:2, he replied: ‘…a rod’. But 18 verses later, the Bible says: ‘And Moses took the rod of God' in his hands. Certain things had changed, and that was the start of the greatest ministry in history so-far.

What happened? Moses yielded his life and rod to God.
He became a Man of God, and his rod became the Rod of God….

Balaam had a gift of divination. It was reputed that ‘those he blessed were blessed, and those he cursed were cursed’ Num 22:6. As a successful ‘Curser’, the King of Moab called him to curse his enemies, the Israelites. Unknown to him, he was on the part of destruction and death. But God changed him, and He used him for His Glory.

To get through to Balaam, his donkey’s eyes were opened, and it suddenly started talking. Vs. 32 of Num 22 says: ‘the angel of the LORD asked him, "Why have you beaten your donkey these three times? I have come here to oppose you because your path is a reckless one before me. The donkey saw me and turned away from me these three times. If she had not turned away, I would certainly have killed you by now, but I would have spared her'.

What happened? His donkey yielded to God, and forced Balaam to yield his life to God as well. Balaam changed, and the donkey made history….

Moses and his rod…Balak and his ass, You and your Stuff….
God can change you (Moses first), and change your stuff (the rod),
Or He changes your stuff (Balaam's donkey), and you are made to change (Balaam).

Your past is not as bad as that coward who chose to hide far away in obscurity...or as that medium who chose to use his gifts to empower people to fail. But your future can be as glorious as theirs. It boils down to You and What God Has Given You. Singing along with Alvin Slaughter’s song, I say:

What’s that you have in your hands; God can use it, if you’re willing to loose it. Take the little you have in you hands,
HE IS ELSHADDAI, AND HE’LL MORE THAT SUPPLY YOUR NEEDS

No Condemnation For Me.

After a conscious decision and several determined efforts, we can perfect the act of not condemning others. But I’ve found it somehow more difficult not to condemn ‘Me’.

I experience several temptations in-and-out of our control everyday…some I barely by-passed, others I fell to…some of my thought are best not seen by others…I rationalize with God before sowing some of my seeds…I’ve not been that faithful with praying for my ‘sheep’, and now 1 of them is seriously ill…volunteering my time to help others is not always as good as I state it….

I've tried everything and nothing helps. I feel like I'm at the end of my rope. Is there no one who can do anything for me? Isn't that the real question on everybody’s mind? The answer, thank God, is that Jesus Christ can and does. He acted to set things right in this life of contradictions where I/we want to serve God with all my/our heart and mind, but am/we’re pulled by the influence of sin to do something totally different – Romans 7 24-27.

And guess what? Despite the pulls…fallings…tempted-ness…living below public expectation…rationalizations…un-nice thoughts…sometimes ‘faithlessness’…, I Am Not Condemned! Romans 8 seals it for me. Verse 33 says: Who shall bring any charge against God's elect (ME!) when it is God Who justifies? That is, Who puts us in right relation to Himself? Who shall come forward and accuse or impeach those whom God has chosen? Will God, Who acquits us?

Definitely Not! His Love, Mercy and Grace avails for me ALWAYS.

What shall we say to all this? Are we to remain in sin in order that God's grace favour and mercy may multiply and overflow? Certainly not! How can we who died to sin live in it any longer? – Rms 6: 1-2.

I might fall once in a while, but I wouldn’t live in it, and that is what makes the difference. My body falls at times, my mind wonders, but I never live in sin. I LIVE IN CHRIST.

Verses 1-2 say Therefore, there is now no condemnation, no adjudging guilty of wrong for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live and walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life which is in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death.

No Condemnation.

If we are asked to mention people God doesn’t like, I can imagine we’ll say: Thieves…adulterers…witches…wizards….

But you know what, God has never, and will never condemn people. What He condemns are the actions. It is when people practice such actions that they position themselves to be condemned.

Proverbs 6: 16-19 says: These six things the LORD hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look…A lying tongue…Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans…Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies…And a false witness who sows discord among brethren.

Galatians 5: 19-21 also mentions some more, such as: Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

If God has never condemned people, then we have no right to. Our job description as defined in 2nd Corin 5:20 is: We're Christ's representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God's work of making things right between them. We're speaking for Christ himself now: Become friends with God; he's already a friend with you – TM

When the scribes and Pharisees caught a women in the act of adultery in John 8: 3-11, Jesus asked her: ‘Woman, where are those your accusers? Has any man condemned you? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn you: go, and sin no more.

All Jesus told her is 'go and sin no more', so we need not mention anybody's wrongdoings; we need not condemn anybody. Our job is to implore them to be reconciled with God. Once they do that, the Spirit of God now residing in them will take over and help them with their sins.
