Do you know why the Holy Ghost came?
HE CAME TO EMPOWER YOU.
Do you know why the Holy Ghost needs to empower you?
FOR YOU TO BE A GOD ON EARTH
In Acts 14:8-10, Paul and Barnabas healed a man lame from birth and in vs. 11, the people said: "The gods have come down to us in the likeness of men!”
They were so, so tripped! They were ready to sacrifice to them and give them the honor and respect due to their gods.
And Paul and Barnabas had to tell them: “… why are you doing these things? We also are men with the same nature as you, and preach to you that you should turn from these useless things to the living God…."
Nowadays, we Christians sometimes look at our Pastors and other Men of God and think in our hearts; "The gods have come down to us in the likeness of men!” without realizing ALL Christians are "… gods … in the likeness of men!” God is not using our Pastors and other Men of God because they are Super-heroes, but because they have turned from the useless things and are fully sold out to God
Living as a God IS OUR RIGHT AS CHRISTIANS; that’s why the Holy Ghost came. He came To Equip Us As Gods On The Earth.
Guys, the call is out.
Let us “… lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. (Hebs 12:1b NKJV).
Let us “…Strip down, start running--and never quit! Allow No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. 2Instead, Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed--that exhilarating finish in and with God--he could put up with anything along the way: cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. 3When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!” (Hebs 12:1b-3 The Message)
We Have God’s Mandate Because We Carry His Spirit On Our Inside,
Let Us Hit The Streets As Men On A Mission.
The Book of Acts ended on a ‘To-be-continued’ note in Acts 28:31 because we are to continue the Acts of the Apostles.
