Where Is God?

17… I ask … the God of glory--to make us all intelligent and discerning …, 18our eyes focused and clear, so that we can see exactly what it is He is calling us to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life He has for us Christians, 19and oh, the utter extravagance of His work in us who trust him--endless energy, boundless strength!” Eph 1:17-19 (TM)

Deep in our sub-consciousness, many of us hardly see God in our work, except when we land in ‘trouble’. But you know what; Your Work Is Your Ministry, And You Gat To Make It Work!

“Ministry” is not a Christian word. The dictionary defines ‘Ministry’ as “The act of serving; ministration” and the thesaurus defined it as “administration or aid. Your ministry is what you are called to do, and that means your 8-5pm work!

Whether as an Admin Assistant, Doctor, Consultant, MD, CEO, or teacher, your work has to work out well! What do you think Jesus was doing everyday He went out? He was going to work! Although Jesus’ work meant His functioning as a Teacher, Healer and Evangelist; He ‘went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. (Acts 10:38). HE WENT ABOUT PROFFERING SOLUTIONS!

I tell you, the same results are expected of us regardless of what we do. God is with us and we know God is not partial! He’ll do for you what He did for Jesus. Walk in that realization and you’ll always do the right things and put your best in all that is expected of you.

Note:
 Just as you resume at work, so does God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit resumes everyday. Else…!

 The same commitment required of Pastors and Bishops for the success of their ministries is the same required of us. Why? Because the success of the office depends on the staff.

We need to start seeing our work as ministries that must succeed, and in doing that, God has to be in His rightful place. We shouldn’t build God around our effort, we build our efforts around God.

“1In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God.”

In your beginnings, as you start another day today, and tomorrow, and the next..., and the next... and the next..., there should be God’s word, for God and His Word are One.
