Such Is Life, Again...

My dream of winning between £100-£300 from RD was shaken last week Friday when people replied that they didn’t understand my joke and it didn’t make them laugh. As a last resort, I’ve decided to explain it.

My sister was teaching my niece to peck and kiss so she could use the skills to dazzle her parents. Unfortunately, on the assessment day, the little girl didn’t ‘deliver’. What made it funny to me was her choice of excuses. She claimed she had exhausted her pecks and she wasn’t willing to let go of any of her kisses because her Auntie's mouth smells.

Later my sister said it dawned on her that children learn from everywhere and everybody. Up in their seemingly young brains, they have both the things they were taught directly, and the ones nobody taught them but which they know.

It is a psychological fact that there is a child in every one of us. Human beings learn from everywhere and everybody, both consciously and unconsciously. Up in our brains, we have our mental models. This is made up of the knowledge and wisdom we were taught in life and the ones we taught ourselves.
