Rich Dad, My Rich Dad.

Dear Child,
In demonstration of my love for you, I hereby give you all my tangible personal property and all policies and proceeds of insurance covering such property. With this testament, I give you absolute authority over all my estates and assets….

So goes somebody’s will

When rich people die, family members are at alert to know what ‘goodies’ are coming their way. Listening to it with their spirit, soul and body, the Will is read once, but the benefactors hear it more than twice and believe it completely. Right there and then in the room, with those few lines, the fortunate ones see their statues changing and lifestyles stepping up several levels. If possible, they will request for copies of the part that relates to them so they can show everybody that ‘indeed, their levels have changed!!’

If people hold so much belief in early testaments, why not God’s Word? For every challenge you are facing or any situation you are in right now, there is a sure word of God for it. Hebs 4: 12 says ‘For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.’ It never fails, it never dumps, it never disappoints!!

It is quick, sharp, effective and powerful!!! Our attitude should be like that of an expectant child who knows there’s a whole lot awaiting him/her. We should assume the stance of ‘God has spoken once; twice have I heard this; That All Power Belongs Unto God’ – Psm 62:11

He is your Rich Dad, and He has willed everything over to you. In the economies of life, His word has said ‘be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion…. (Gen 1:26)’

In the scarcity of life, His assurance is that ‘I Am Your Shepherd, You shall not want…. (Psm 23:1)’

Concerning your family, He has said ‘There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in your land: the number of your days He will fulfil…. (Ex 23:26).’

Concerning His covenant of wholeness with you, He says not to worry as ‘He gives you the power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore unto your fathers…. (Deut 8:18).’

And concerning you; ‘You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvellous light (1 Pet 2:9).’

A lot has been said….

‘… that you may prosper and be in good health, even as your soul prospers’ (3 Jh 1:2)

‘…the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thess 5:23)

Remember the parable of the Sower? Some people heard God’s word and embraced it until it became whole in their life…. Others hear it frequently, but take it with a pinch of salt… and some others hear it over and over, but it still makes little or no difference in their lives. Which category are you?

As for me; ‘He has spoken once; twice have I heard this; that ALL power belongs unto my Rich Dad (Psm 62:11)’.

Love, Janmo!
