Are We Looking Torward To The Weekend?
Hi Everybody,
Are we looking forward to the weekend? I am...
The average worker works 49 or more hours per week. Remember, too, that these hours do not include time spent dressing for work or commuting, which can add an additional 5 to 20 hours to our work week. So, when you consider all of the time you spend related to work, we work long hours.
I sometimes feel so tired, I wish for lesser work and longer nights…
But… I’m sorry, 24/7 is 24/7. We can’t and wouldn’t get more hours of the day, and our employers wouldn’t reduce our workload either.
So what do we do?
Plan Your Day Around God, and have Him maximize each day for you. Psalm 127 1-2 says: “Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman stays wake but in vain. 2It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so He gives His beloved sleep.
You can’t maximize life all by yourself, you’ll wear out. Public holidays, weekends or annual leaves don’t suffice, they run out too soon.
There’s something called GRACE!
Grace for ease, effortlessness, favor and acceleration for every aspect of your life. It will allow you eat your cake and still have it.
Hebs 4:16 says Grace ‘… is appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it.’ It also tells us how and where to receive it. That sounds just PERFECT!
There is more to it than a few days off. The weekend will come and go, Monday we’ll be back at work, and the cycle continues…. 2…5…10…15…20 years down life lane.
It’s not of your ability, because laborers, street hawkers and armed robbers work hard as well. It is of God’s mercy and blessings. Walk in His Grace, and you’ll experience the fullness of who and what you are.
An Advise, Start Riding On The Wings Of Grace From Today, It Pays.
