God Alone 2.

It’s all about You, Jesus
And all this is for You; for Your Glory and Your Fame
It’s not about me, as if You should do things my way
You Alone Are God, and I surrender, to Your Will.

Be it:

… Life, Families, Relationships, Careers…
… Purpose, Destinies, Successes, Promotions…
… Positions, Titles, Inheritances, Achievements…
… Resources, Assets, Treasures, Legacies …
… Comfort, Food, Shelter, Education…
… Desires, Wants, Needs, Wishes…
Or whatever it may be; It Should Be All About God.

God is the essence of life, the reason why we are alive and everything we live for. Three times in the book of Revelation, God referred to Himself as the Alpha and Omega. ‘Alpha’ is the first letter of the Greek alphabet and it means ‘The first one; the beginning’ while Omega is the twenty-forth and last letter of the Greek alphabet and it means ‘The end. The two of them are synonyms for ‘accomplishment, completion, maximum, perfection and crowning excellence’.

In Rev 1: 8, we see Him as ‘The Alpha and the Omega, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.’

Rev 21:6 calls Him ‘The Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End’ and He says ‘To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life.’

In Rev 22:13, we see Him as ‘The Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.’

Men will fail you (like they failed Job), strength might wane (like Samson’s) and money doesn’t last forever (the rich man in Luke 16:19-31 was poor in hell). Hebs 13:5 says ‘keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because The Alpha and the Omega has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"’

Keep your focus on God, never loose gaze. In the search for a better life, more defined purpose, higher positions, extra resources, additional comfort, or satisfied desires, it should be about The Alpha and the Omega, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End!

Jesus, I want You to Know, I will follow You all my days…
No one else in history is like You, history itself belongs to You…
Alpha and Omega, You have loved me, I will spend eternity with You…
