Such Is Life.

I submitted an entry to RD, and I feel like sharing it with you guys. Find it below:

My 28-months-old niece was spending her holiday with my parents. In preparation for her parents’ visit, my twin sister decided to teach her some skills to impress them. The lessons went well, and my niece was labelled ‘professional’. On her parents’ arrival, my twin called my niece and this dialogue followed:

Kay: More give me a peck.
More: No! Peck is finished
Kay: Ok, give me a kiss
More: No! Your mouth smells.

Then it dawned on my twin sister that ‘for every one student, there are several teachers’.

Such is life; there is a child in every one of us.
