29 Days To Go….
Saul was an unknown fellow in Israel. From the way the Bible described him in 1st Sam 9, he must have been in his 20s or 30s. The last thing on his mind was kingship and his father just asked him if and some of his servants could help look for some lost sheep.
After they had searched unsuccessfully for a while, one of the servants suggested they go and ask the Man of God nearby where to look for the sheep.
Then Saul said something, "But look, if we go, what shall we bring the man? For the bread in our vessels is all gone, and there is no present to bring to the man of God. What do we have?" (1st Sam 9:7.)
Saul asked what they'll give the Man of God. He knew better than to go see a man of God with empty hands.
Saul asked the question because He has a giving heart.
God had earlier told the Israelites He was going to be their king. But later they requested for a king and God took it upon himself to look for the king for them. In doing that, He looked for a man just like Him; He looked for A MAN WHO HAD A GIVING HEART.
SEEDS SPEAK FOR PEOPLE.
There's been 48 Sundays this year, and I'm sure all of us at one time or the other during the course of the year had given to God and our Man of God. Your seeds are your guarantee that God will be mindful of you.
You might have lost 'it' in the course of the year and you've been busy looking for animals...
Your seeds are your guarantee that God will be mindful of you, and right now where you are, no matter what's on your mind, YOUR SEED WILL START SPEAKING FOR YOU!
There's been 48 Sundays in this year, and I'm sure we've all sown our seeds to God and our Man of God. So What Are You Doing......????? (You have 29 days to remind God of your seeds.)
2 days time is a Sunday...
What Are You Going To Do.......????? (Sow Your Seeds.....)
