Such Is Life: 3
This came in yesterday, and it's for all of us.
The child may have heard her parents or some other couple have a similar conversation…. Since children never actually take a break from learning, she just displayed what she learnt, probably after her Auntie thought she had stopped teaching
MORAL: As far as kids are concerned we are always teaching them, even when we don’t want them to learn…even when we think they are not watching….
The same goes for Christians…. The world is always watching and judging us, we need to be careful what kind of behaviour we display.
-OO (Emphasis Mine)
This is the same as what Paul wrote in 2nd Corinthians 3:2-5:
KJV: Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.
Amp V: No, you yourselves are our letter of recommendation, our credentials, written in your hearts, to be known, perceived, recognised and read by everybody. You show and make obvious that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, not written with ink but with the Spirit of The Living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. Such is the reliance and confidence that we have through Christ toward and with reference to God. Not that we are fit, qualified and sufficient in ability of ourselves to form personal judgements or to claim or count anything as coming from us, but our power and ability and sufficiency are from God.
And lastly:
TM: You yourselves are all the endorsement we need. Your very lives are a letter that anyone can read by just looking at you. Christ himself wrote it--not with ink, but with God's living Spirit; not chiselled into stone, but carved into human lives--and we publish it. We couldn't be more sure of ourselves in this--that you, written by Christ himself for God, are our letter of recommendation. We wouldn't think of writing this kind of letter about ourselves. Only God can write such a letter
Love, Janmo!
All comments are welcomed. I will be happy to publish some of them.
