We all want our lives to count.

Deep at the bottom of everybody’s heart is a desire for our life to count…
Lurking behind our rush for success is the longing to be a champion…
Buried behind our jobs, relationships, fashion fad and our day-to-day living is a yearning to be a World Changer.

Everybody wants their lives to count;
Everybody wants to be known for something great, but unfortunately, not everybody is.

Different people have come, gone and some are still living, each making and leaving their marks.

Martin Luther Jnr. came, and the African Americans are not what they used to be.
Mary Slessor came, and thanks to her, my twin sisters are alive and well.
Gandhi came, and his life liberated the whole Indian race.

Life was slow, work was cumbersome, but thanks to Bill Gate, the MS suite makes work lotsss easier…
Apartheid was the norm, but Mandela said ‘No’, stuck to what he believed, and apartheid had to give way to the call of that 1 man.
Jesus came, and the whole of heaven, earth and hell has and can never be the same again.

Either as the force who will revolutionize lives and circumstances;
Or the savior of seemingly hopeless situations, we ALL have the abilities to cause changes.

The difference between making our lives count or not is not our background, educational status, workplace or our bank accounts, but how far we can be ourselves.

How?

‘17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2nd Corinthians 5:17)

Anybody in Christ is a new creation. Jesus is above poverty, death, sickness, lack and every other ill, so anybody in Him is definitely above death, sickness, lack.

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. (vs. 21)

We are the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus NOW. Christ was sick so we can be healed. Christ was poor that we would be rich. He was broken and rejected so we can be accepted in Christ. It is not of us or our actions, but who we are in Christ by God’s grace.

Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself … and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, (vs. 18)

We have the Ministry of Reconciliation. We have been reconciled to God. Our duty now is to reconcile the world to God, so EVERYBODY can enjoy THEIR redemptive rights as heirs of salvation and joint-heirs with Christ

Let us be ourselves, let us reconcile the world to God, and everybody will be new creations. New creations where all needs are met, all bills are paid, far above all sickness, lack, poverty, death…..

So it would be said of you in 20 years time:
‘Poverty, Death, Sickness, Lack…. Was high in Nigeria/Kenya/New York/…., but Olajumoke came and said ‘No’, and she stuck to what she believed,
And Poverty, Death, Sickness, Lack…. gave way to the call of that 1 woman.’

The ball lies in our court; let us make our lives to count. – Janmo!
